Call for affiliated workshops

General Information

Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit proposals for workshops to be held in conjunction with the EuroSys 2009 conference. The purpose of workshops is to provide a forum for exchanging opinions, present ideas, and discuss preliminary results in a small and interactive atmosphere.

Proposals should include:

  • Workshop name and an 150-200 words abstract describing the workshop, suitable for the conference Web site.
  • A short summary of the topic, scope and significance of the workshop including a discussion on the relation with the EuroSys topics. This should also include information about past versions of the workshop if there are any.
  • Information about the procedure for selecting papers, about the plans for dissemination (ranging from, for example, special issues of journals, to just position statements distributed to the participants), about the expected number of participants and the planned format of the workshop.
  • A brief CV of all the organizers including relevant contact addresses and an identification of a single primary contact.

Please send electronic submissions to 2009wscc-at-eurosys.org. You can expect a confirmation of the reception of the proposal. If you did not receive a confirmation, please resend the proposal.
